Work. Life. Highland
The Work. Life. Highland. website http://www.worklifehighland.co.uk provides a clear and simple point of entry to employability services available in Highland, encouraging potential clients and employers to get in touch to find out more about the help and support on offer.
The site is structured around three key themes:
1. I want a job – aimed at people starting work for the first time, getting back into work after a career break or people with extra barriers e.g. disability, long-term health conditions, long-term unemployment
2. I have a job and want to progress – aimed at people already in work and in receipt of universal credit to gain skills that will potentially raise their household income. Supporting working parents on universal credit is a high priority under this theme.
3. I am an employer – working with employers to provide valuable opportunities for employability clients (e.g. employment, work experience, volunteering, and workplace tasters), whilst helping them connect with people across Highland who have the potential to become valued members of staff.
Please email employ.ability@highland.gov.uk if you would like more information or to discuss potential opportunities.
